How to make Fresh Egg Noodles

Hello Everyone!!!

Today we will make some Fresh Egg Noodles from scratch. It is very simple, we only need flour, egg, water, salt, and your happy hands willing to play with dough.

You can make a lot of thing from this simple recipe. You can use it for Russian Chicken Noodles Soup, Beef Noodles Soup, Russian Pelmeni, Lomi, and a lot, lot more.

So let’s play some dough.

How to make Fresh Egg Noodles

Prep. time: 20 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Difficulty: Very Easy

Makes; 200 grams of fresh egg noodles

You will need;

1 cup (125 grams) plain/all-purpose flour, (plus some extra flour for dusting hands and working table.)

1 med.size (60grams whole) fresh egg

1/2 eggshell of water

pinch or 1/4 tsp. salt

Direction;

Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Mix using a spoon or your clean hand to make a dough.

Transfer on a floured surface, knead for a minute.

Keep aside and cover with plastic food wrap, rest for at least 15 minutes.

Roll out using a rolling pin until very thin.

Cut into your desired length and width.

Drop into boiling soup stock. Stir for a minute and let it simmer for another 8 minutes.

Here’s how I do it;
