Hello guys, time really flies so fast and we’re already at the middle of May!
Its so fast that I didn’t notice its already 15 years ago when me and my ex-girlfriend hop into a journey of a lifetime.
I never imagine that she’ll be my wife and the mom of my three wonderful kids. We are not a perfect couple, we have a lot of ups and downs but we keep on treasuring our relationship and continue to enjoy our differences.
So today I dedicate this post to the girl I fall in love a decade and a half ago.
To the woman behind my success and stood by my side during my failures
and most of all, to a true friend that never judge me when I was really down.
Thank you and I will always love you, Mahal Thets!!! Happy 15th Anniversary!!!
Its nice to have a wife and kids who enjoys climbing our duhat tree.
All I need to do is to invent a new recipe that we can enjoy and proudly show the world that this is an original Pinoy recipe.
Now on with the cooking…
Prep. time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Difficulty: Very Easy
Makes; 200 grms.
You will need;
500 grms. fresh or frozen duhat, washed.
100 grms. (1/2 cup) white sugar
Place duhat in a sauce pan. Add the sugar.
Cook over high heat until it boils. Keep stirring using a wooden spoon.
Cook for 12-15 mins or until the sugar turns into a thick syrup that can coat the back of a spoon.
Remove from heat and strain in a fine sieve to make a smooth coulis.
You now can store this Duhat Coulis in your fridge for a week.
Keep it inside your freezer and it can be use for up to 6 months.
Enjoy your meal !!! 😉
Here’s how I do it;
You use it as a topping for your favorite dessert.
It can also be added to your sugar glazed to top your cakes.
Use it as a topping for Panna Cotta
or you can come back here next week for
I will show you how to make a Duhat Glazed Donuts.
Thanks alot for spending your precious time on my blog and hope this recipe
encourage you to try making some Duhat Coulis
