How to Bread Crumbs

Today is “World Bread Day!” and We Pinoys are also celebrating “World Pandesal Day!” today.

Today, instead of making a bread I’m recuperating it to bring it back to life. It is one of the main ingredients of our famous Pandesal.

Bread crumbs has so many uses in the culinary world. I normally use it to make my #Breadin Mix, to cover the greased baking pan, to thicken the sauce of the stew and a lot more…

So please save your leftover bread, it can still go a long way.

How to Bread Crumbs

Prep. time: 1 day to indefinitely

Active time: 5 minutes

Difficulty: Very Easy

You will need;

Leftover breads

Direction;

Keep all leftover bread on a tray loosely covered.

Preparably on top of the oven or in a warm area inside the galley/kitchen until bread is totally dry.

Grind all dried leftover bread in a mortar and pestle of any grinding machine available.

Keep in a tight container indefinitely.

Here’s how I do it;

Preparably on top of the oven or in a warm area inside the galley/kitchen until bread is totally dry.

Grind all dried leftover bread in a mortar and pestle of any grinding machine available.

Plastic film wrap can also be use to avoid Bread crumbs from spilling outside the tray.
